How long is the delivery time for your products?

  • Generally the delivery time is 8 weeks after receipt of order
  • Upon conclusion of an annual quantity agreement the delivery time is 3 weeks
  • Upon conclusion of a service contract with specified quantity the delivery time is 5 working days

How to store X-ray tube assemblies and X-ray tubes? Is there an expiration date?

  • There is no expiration date
  • The warranty is 12 months upon shipping date
  • After 2 months off-time a warm up is required
  • We recommend to study our application note

Are there temperature limits for transport and storage?

  • There are no temperature limits
  • Before start of operation, the assembly must be stored 48 hours in room temperature

Can the tube be changed inside the assembly, or can the assembly be repaired?

  • Yes, but a change of the tube is only possible in our factory
  • Parts cannot be repaired by user
  • Demounting or loosening of components by user will void warranty

How to dispose X-ray tube assemblies and X-ray tubes?

  • The used oil must be dispose professionally
  • The Be-window must go back to a recycling company
  • We offer a professional disposal by our company
  • Please send back old X-ray tube assemblies for free, if the housing parts are not damaged, you get a credit note

What must be done when shipping X-ray tubes and X-ray tube assemblies - dangerous goods or similar?

  • We don’t know any special conditions
  • The package must be prepared, to ensure goods are not damaged
  • Goods have to be checked for possible transportation damages immediately upon receipt

Are there special disposals for abroad transports?

  • There are no specifics
  • If the package was opened by customs, please check the goods for possible damages

Is the focal spot adjustable by grid control?

  • The stated focal spot on Final Test Data Sheet complies with real focal spots at normal operation
  • The grid can only be used for “closing” the X-ray tube

How long is the life time of X-ray tube or X-ray tube assemblies?

  • This depends on the working parameters

WHAT IS TO BE CONSIDERED BEFORE STARTING THE OPERATION OF X-RAY TUBES AND X-RAY TUBE ASSEMBLIES?

  • The power supply must have a filament current limitation, which has to be set at most 50 mA above nominal filament current.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DISCOVER A BROKEN TUBE INSIDE OF THE X-RAY TUBE ASSEMBLY?

  • Yes, on the basis of a simple electrical check
